Begin your day with a leisurely cycling experience along scenic red-soil roads, passing through charming rural villages. Stop at a local fish market to observe—and, if you wish, take part in the daily Khmer fish trade, offering a fascinating glimpse into local life.

After a refreshing break, continue to Kampong Phluk, one of Cambodia’s most impressive floating villages. Board a traditional boat and cruise through the flooded forest, discovering the unique stilted houses and lifestyle shaped by the Tonlé Sap Lake.

For lunch, visit a local stilt house to share an authentic Khmer meal with a host family, providing a warm and meaningful cultural exchange. Following lunch, rejoin the boat for a scenic cruise to a pagoda located on a small island. Take a short walk past the monks’ school, where you can quietly observe their daily routines.

In the afternoon, return to your vehicle and drive back to Siem Reap, passing through picturesque countryside. Along the way, stop in a rural village to interact with local residents and, with a bit of luck, spot water-bird species feeding in the rice paddies.
