ITENERARY

Day 1: Iconic Temples of Angkor

Begin your tour early in the morning with a scenic tuk-tuk ride through the jungle to Ta Prohm Temple. Famous for its towering tree roots and atmospheric ruins, Ta Prohm offers a memorable introduction to Angkor’s ancient heritage. With the guidance of an English-speaking guide, learn about the temple’s history and symbolism before returning to the hotel for breakfast around 7:30 a.m.

Continue to Angkor Wat, the largest religious monument in the world and a true masterpiece of Khmer architecture. Built in the 12th century by King Suryavarman II, the temple’s grand structure and detailed bas-reliefs provide deep insight into Cambodia’s cultural and spiritual past. After lunch at a local restaurant, spend the afternoon exploring Angkor Thom, the former capital of the Khmer Empire.
