For nature, culture, and scenic landscapes lovers, this day trip is the perfect escape from Phnom Penh. Your guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel at 7:30 AM, and you’ll begin the journey west toward Kirirom National Park. The drive follows Highway 4 until reaching the Kirirom junction, where the road becomes a little rougher, signaling your approach to the forested hills.

The first stop is the Chambok community, one of Cambodia’s pioneering community-based tourism projects. Here, you can enjoy a 30-minute trek through the forest leading to the beautiful Chambok Waterfall. After the visit, continue into Kirirom National Park and drive to the top of the mountains to take in breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding forests and rolling mountain ranges.

Once at the summit, take a leisurely walk along the park’s trails toward the lake, which takes around 20 minutes. The pine forest is particularly striking, offering a peaceful and refreshing atmosphere, while several streams and rapids add to the natural charm of the park.

After a day immersed in Cambodia’s natural beauty, you will return to Phnom Penh, completing a rejuvenating journey through one of the country’s most scenic national parks.
