Day 1: Arrival in Phnom Penh and City Highlights

Your Cambodian adventure begins in Phnom Penh, the lively capital. Upon arrival at the airport, your guide will welcome you and escort you to your hotel to check in and freshen up. Once settled, you’ll set out to explore the city’s iconic landmarks.

Start with the Royal Palace, a stunning example of Khmer architecture and the official residence of the Royal Family. Inside the palace complex, visit the Silver Pagoda, where sacred artifacts and sparkling treasures offer a glimpse into Cambodia’s spiritual traditions.

Next, stroll through the Central Market (Phsar Thmey), a vibrant hub filled with colorful stalls selling local handicrafts, textiles, and souvenirs. Afterward, visit the Independence Monument, a symbol of Cambodia’s freedom, and walk along Norodom Boulevard to reach Wat Phnom, the hilltop temple that gave the city its name. Day 2: History and Reflection – Tuol Sleng and the Killing Fields

Today, you’ll explore Cambodia’s recent history, beginning with the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum (S-21). This former prison offers a sobering insight into the Khmer Rouge era and is an important place to understand Cambodia’s past.

Afterward, visit the Killing Fields at Choeung Ek, a memorial to the thousands who lost their lives during this dark period. Walk among the serene grounds and stupa memorials, taking time to reflect on the resilience of the Cambodian people.

Day 3: Ancient Temples of Siem Reap – Roluos, Ta Prohm, and Angkor Thom

Day 4: Angkor Wat, Banteay Srei, and Cultural Experiences

Today is a highlight of your trip: a visit to Angkor Wat, the largest religious monument in the world. The central sanctuary offers breathtaking views over the temple complex and the surrounding countryside.

Optional activities include a bicycle ride through local streets or sampling authentic Khmer cuisine at a nearby restaurant.

Day 5: Farewell to Cambodia

On your final day, enjoy a leisurely breakfast at your hotel before checking out. Take a last stroll around Siem Reap or pick up any final souvenirs. Then, transfer to the bus or airport for your onward journey, taking home memories of Cambodia’s temples, culture, and history.
