Discover the heart of Cambodia in just three days with a journey that blends ancient wonders, natural beauty, and local culture. Explore the breathtaking temples of Angkor, including the iconic Angkor Wat, jungle-covered Ta Prohm, and the smiling faces of Bayon. Venture beyond Siem Reap with a scenic hike to Kbal Spean, visit Cambodia’s first wildlife conservation center, and admire the delicate carvings of Banteay Srey. Experience the daily rhythm of life on Tonlé Sap Lake with a boat and kayaking trip through a floating village, then witness Khmer craftsmanship at Artisans D’Angkor and the Silk Farm of Puok. With a mix of history, tradition, and authentic encounters, this trip offers an unforgettable glimpse into Cambodia’s soul.

Day 1: The Magic of Angkor & Apsara Dinner Show
Your adventure begins with the world’s most iconic temple—Angkor Wat. Towering above the jungle and decorated with exquisite carvings, it’s more than a historical site; it’s a national symbol and a place of pride for Cambodians. Exploring its massive corridors and intricate bas-reliefs feels like stepping back into the height of the Khmer Empire.

From there, you’ll continue to Ta Prohm, the temple made famous by its dramatic embrace with nature. Giant tree roots wind their way through the crumbling stones, creating one of the most photogenic and atmospheric sights in Angkor. The day continues at Angkor Thom, the ancient royal city, and the mysterious Bayon Temple, where hundreds of serene stone faces seem to watch over visitors from every angle.

As evening arrives, you’ll return to Siem Reap for dinner and a traditional Apsara dance show. The graceful movements and storytelling through dance bring Khmer legends to life, rounding off the day with a cultural experience before resting overnight in town.

Day 2: Beyond the Temples
After breakfast, it’s time to head deeper into the Cambodian countryside. A short hike through the jungle leads to Kbal Spean, known as the “River of a Thousand Lingas.” Here, ancient carvings are etched into the riverbed, a reminder of the sacred connection between nature and spirituality in Khmer culture.

Next, you’ll visit the Angkor Centre for Conservation of Biodiversity (ACCB), Cambodia’s first wildlife conservation project. It’s a chance to see efforts being made to protect endangered species and learn about the importance of preserving the region’s natural heritage.

On the way back, you’ll stop at Banteay Srey, often called the “Temple of Women.” Its pink sandstone walls are covered with some of the most delicate carvings in Angkor, making it a highlight for many visitors. By evening, you’ll be back in Siem Reap, ready for another night in town.

Day 3: Visit Tonle Sap Lake and Khmer Craftsmanship
Your last day begins with a trip to Tonlé Sap Lake, home to floating villages where families live entirely on the water. After boarding a local boat, you’ll spend time kayaking around the stilted houses and floating shops, getting a closer look at the daily lives of those who call the lake home.

Back in Siem Reap, the focus shifts to traditional craftsmanship. At Artisans D’Angkor, you’ll walk through workshops where skilled artisans create beautiful wood and stone carvings using age-old techniques. The final stop is the Silk Farm in Puok, where you’ll watch the fascinating process of silk-making from silkworm cocoon to finished fabric.

As the journey comes to an end, you’ll be transferred to the airport with not just souvenirs but lasting memories of temples, traditions, and the warm spirit of Cambodia.

This three-day itinerary offers a little bit of everything history, nature, culture, and everyday life making it the perfect way to truly experience Cambodia.
