Day 1: Phnom Penh to Kampot Countryside Trek

The journey begins in Phnom Penh, where travelers are picked up from their hotel and transferred to Kampot, a peaceful town well known for its natural beauty and agricultural landscapes. The drive takes about three hours and offers a chance to observe the changing scenery from the busy capital city to the quiet countryside.

After arriving in Kampot, travelers check in at their hotel and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, the adventure continues with a four-hour trekking tour through the countryside. During the trek, visitors explore beautiful salt fields, green rice fields, and famous pepper plantations where local farmers grow Kampot pepper. The walk also passes through small villages where travelers can see the daily life of local people. This countryside trek provides a great introduction to the rural culture and natural environment of Kampot before returning to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 2: Trekking to Bokor Hill

On the second day, the trekking adventure becomes more exciting. After breakfast at the hotel, travelers transfer to the base of Bokor Hill to begin a challenging hike through the jungle. The trail leads through dense forest and natural landscapes, allowing visitors to experience the wild beauty of the mountain.

During the hike, the group takes a lunch break before continuing the climb toward the summit. Bokor Hill stands about 1,080 meters above sea level and offers breathtaking panoramic views. From the top, travelers can see the coastline of Kep, the town of Kampot, and even Phu Quoc Island in Vietnam on clear days. In the evening, the guide prepares dinner for the group, and travelers spend the night resting in hammocks in the jungle. This overnight jungle experience allows them to enjoy the peaceful sounds of nature.

Day 3: Bokor Hill to Popokvil Waterfall and Kampot

The third day begins with breakfast in the jungle before continuing the trek across the mountain. The group hikes toward the beautiful Popokvil Waterfall, a famous natural attraction surrounded by lush forest. The waterfall offers a refreshing and scenic place to relax and take photos.

After visiting the waterfall, the trek continues down the mountain toward the base of Bokor Hill. The group stops for lunch in the jungle before returning to Kampot. In the late afternoon, travelers take a relaxing boat ride along a canal to watch the sunset. The peaceful boat trip provides a wonderful view of the river and surrounding landscape. After the sunset, the group returns to the hotel in Kampot, and the evening is free for personal activities.

Day 4: Kampot to Phnom Penh

On the final day of the tour, travelers enjoy breakfast at the hotel and have some free time to relax or explore Kampot at their own pace. Later, the group transfers back to Phnom Penh, marking the end of the trekking adventure.

This four-day journey offers a perfect combination of trekking, nature exploration, and cultural discovery, allowing travelers to experience the countryside, mountains, and natural beauty of southern Cambodia.
